Every wonder how we did this live broadcast? As the technology partner of Bohol’s No.1 Radio Station DYRD-AM, Auza.Net integrated various hardware and software to come up with the audio streaming system used for the live broadcast. To ensure the system is reliable, we only used reliable hardware and services. To ensure the website is easy to use, we relied on open source technologies and best practices.Our server system uses Pentium 4-M processor to ensure low power consumption but reliable operation. We used open source software to handle the live broadcast functions. This server converts the broadcast signal from the AM station to digital format ready for delivery via the Internet.
Our network uses only reliable components. Our core switch and core router are supplied by Allied Telesyn. Our firewall is supplied by Multitech Systems. Our network load is controlled by rQoS, a locally developed system that ensures proper allocation of network load.
Our computers use Linux operating system, specifically Fedora Core . Non-Linux systems are protected by AVG Anti-Virus.
Our solutions partner, Raynetworks, Inc., provides advanced technical support as well as supply all our hardware requirements.

I really hope VAT will be removed from the BIR collections. We the fixed income group of persons are collected fixed withholding taxes by our employers and we buy goods with VAT included prices. As if it is already a double jeopardy on our part. The businessmen cannot feel the high prices since they will only add a mark-up on their selling price. It is we the end users who are sacrificng for the benefit of all. The president said it will be used for the subsidy of the indigent citizens. If it is so, then why should we suffer for the high prices just for the sake of us. Why nut cut the cost of consumption of fuel in the government sectors. The transportation allowances of the officials that is used for their own comfort. What about the buying of vehicles. Is it really important? Why can’t they subsidized the amount for the transportation to the indigent citizens. They are using the people’s money for their own comfort. Why not look back to the economic crisis of these indigent citizens. They are used by the public officials so that they could be benefited this coming elections. PLEASE TRY TO WAKE UP fellow citizens. Abolish VAT because the end users of goods are the one’s sacrificing and they are not very much benefited of the subsidy that is always aired over the radio.
