We the fixed income group of persons are collected fixed withholding taxes by our employers and we buy goods with VAT included prices. As if it is already a double jeopardy on our part. The businessmen cannot feel the high prices since they will only add a mark-up on their selling price. It is we the end users who are sacrificng for the benefit of all. The president said it will be used for the subsidy of the indigent citizens. If it is so, then why should we suffer for the high prices just for the sake of us. Why nut cut the cost of consumption of fuel in the government sectors. The transportation allowances of the officials that is used for their own comfort. What about the buying of vehicles. Is it really important? Why can't they subsidized the amount for the transportation to the indigent citizens. They are using the people's money for their own comfort. Why not look back to the economic crisis of these indigent citizens. They are used by the public officials so that they could be benefited this coming elections. PLEASE TRY TO WAKE UP fellow citizens. Abolish VAT because the end users of goods are the one's sacrificing and they are not very much benefited of the subsidy that is always aired over the radio.
