NOT ALL TOURISTS GO TO PANGLAO. But now that they’re distinguishable, the “bad guys” will now know where they’re at ALL the time. But also the Tourists can distinguish them better. In my opinion Visible-Police-Presence-Constantly-Patroling random areas are a better sight and also creating undercover Patrol Officers as well.

Not all tourists go to Panglao. The city also needs Tourist police to apprehend tricycle drivers overcharging tourists at the airport and pier. Today I witness local passenger and tricycle driver arguing about minimum fare that the driver tells its P10.00 but the tourists knew its only P8.00. Then a tourist complaining of very exorbitant fare of P500 from pier to Agora. This needs police intervention.

The PCG overacts when there is storm signal even it’s not in the vicinity of the Tagbilaran-Cebu route of the fastcraft. They shall base their advisory on actual situation within the areas of responsibility.
